Smart Quilt

The quilt is hand sewn and integrated with an Arduino textile technology. The open source microcontroller allows the heat blank element within the quilt to heat up once the ambient temperature drops bellow 70 degrees. The quilt is also wired with micro LED lights that act as a night light once the environment becomes dark. In this installation the quilt is on display with a quilt rack topped with images of cellphone tower trees.
